Derya BOZOK

Derya Bozok entered Ankara State Conservatory in 1981, studied violin with Istvan Nemeth and Murat Tamer. Following her graduation as the third most successful student of this school in 1991, she joined the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO) as a violinist. In the same year she also attended international festivals as a member of the Mediterranean Youth Orchestra.

With the Kamer Quartet which she founded in 1994, realized a series of successful performances during the International Chamber Music Festival in Canakkale.

She continued her studies with Victor Pikaizen at Hacettepe University - State Conservatory and in 1995, received her Master’s Degree as an Honour Student.

As a soloist, she has realized various performances with Bursa, Cukurova, Eskisehir orchestras and the Presidential Symphony Orchestra (CSO). Currently she is a member of the first group violinists of the CSO.

1981 yılında Ankara Devlet Konservatuvarı’na giren Derya Bozok, Istvan Nemeth ve Murat Tamer ile çalışarak 1991 yılında okul üçüncüsü olarak mezun oldu.

Aynı yıl C.S.O.’nun keman gurubunda göreve başlayan Derya Bozok, 1991 yazında Akdeniz Gençlik Orkestrası ile Uluslararası Festivallere katıldı.

1994 yılında Kamer Kuarteti kurarak Çanakkale’de gerçekleştirilen Uluslararası Oda müziği festivali’nde bu grup ile başarılı konserler verdi.

Daha sonra Hacettepe Üniversitesi Devlet Konservatuvarı’nda Victor Pikaizen ile çalışarak 1995 yılında yüksek lisansı pekiyi derece ile bitirdi.

Sanatçı Bursa,Çukurova,Eskişehir ve Cumhurbaşkanlığı Senfoni Orkestraları ile solo konserler yaptı.

C.S.O.’nun 1.keman gurubunda görevini sürdürmekte olan sanatçı, aynı zamanda Akdeniz Kuartetin 2.Kemancısıdır.
